About
The Strategic Exchange has been bringing together founders, investors, and business leaders since 2008. We meet monthly — over breakfast, dinner, or drinks — hosting a small group of guests each time to keep the conversation fresh and the network growing.
The format is simple: real people, real conversations, real asks. No presentations, no agendas. Just a room where accomplished people are open about what they're building and what they need. Over 20 years, that's translated into business partnerships, investments, hiring, and friendships that have lasted well beyond any single meeting.
Why TSE is different
Most networking groups optimize for surface area. TSE was built for depth.
The idea came from a simple observation: when you go the entrepreneurial route, you lose the built-in camaraderie of a big organization — the colleagues who think out loud with you, who know when things are hard, who help you work through it. TSE was built to replace that. A room where the wins get celebrated, but where what's keeping you up at night can also be said out loud — because most people in this room have been through that same thing, and can actually help.
The other thing members keep coming back for: the cross-pollination. Carving out an hour a month to hear what smart people are doing across industries and sectors has a way of unlocking ideas that staying in your own lane never does. Some of the best thinking about your business comes from someone who knows nothing about your industry.
That's what 20 years of showing up looks like.
How it works
01
TSE is invite-only. Every guest is vouched for and introduced by the member who brought them in. That's what keeps the room right.
02
No deck, no prep needed. Use your intro to share your background, what you're working on, what's interesting in your space — and most importantly, how the room can help you and how you can help them. Don't hold back on the asks. That's the whole point.
03
After each meeting, everyone's asks are compiled and sent to a broader network. If someone can help, they'll follow up directly.
Members
Our members span early-stage founders, investors, and the operators and advisors who work closely with them. The common thread: they're builders who show up for each other.
